Wow! I just love shots like this where the light spread
out around the person on stage...

I dig how you've tilted the camera. It adds energy
to this and makes it exciting to look at!

You could definitely work a little on the contrast, making
the black completly black, and maybe get the white to
be brighter? But with that thing in the corner... it takes
a lot of attention from the contrasts on the guitarist
as it's such a big black blob ;oP

I really wish that thing wasn't in front of your camera
covering the bottom right corner like that, without
it this would have been a _perfect_ shot! Is it part
of a head or something?

Well well, that's what it's like shooting live, always things
you cannot control ;o)

But you've captured such a good moment here! He
looks like he's totally into the music... And I love the
details on the guitarhead + the shoulderstrap behind
his left arm...

I probably will have a play around with the contrast at some point. The blob is indeed someone's head - they were in the way the whole gig. Everyone who likes the photo wishes they weren't there, but I guess at a gig you can't control the crowd!

I do think his pose is great though, and I'm glad it was so smokey otherwise the light wouldn't have been as visible.

I got so few good shots because I was a distance away and shooting with zoom in low light is a blurry nightmare!

I feel ya on that one. I took a shot of my friends' band on NYE and someone's hand was in the shot.. argh. turned out pretty well tho esp considering it was with my point and shoot! [link]
