I really like this photo. It's a Formula Ford, taken the second day of the two hillclimbs I went to recently at Harewood. The first day was vintage and classic, and the second was more modern stuff, Evos, Elises, and quite a few single seaters such as Formula cars and Pilbeam hillclimb cars.

I was walking around the course, and I'd been taking photos from the outside of the corner this guy is going around, but got bored and irritated by people's fat children standing in front of my lens, so I set off down the hill and took a few photos facing in the other direction.

It allowed me to get a good few photos from ground level, and the focal length looks just right because both the grass in the foreground and the cars in the background are blurred, and there's a bit of a heat haze.

Plus, the weather on the second day was beautiful.
